Who we are
Someone once told me that I should write a book about all the random things that happened during my pregnancy and after. None of these events were in the usual pregnancy books or things to expect. In fact, when I would mention them to friends or acquaintances that have been pregnant, they had no idea that this was even a thing. I won't pretend to know everything, all I can share is my experience and what I have come to learn throughout the pregnancy and postpartum process. One simply can't know everything there is to expect, but I do think it's important to share information and to make this whole process more apparent and discussed in society.
I'm a proud mom to a wonderful boy. My husband and I decided to wait to have children, until later in life. That being said, it is important to clarify that I was just under advance maternal age.
All things considered, I had a relatively easy borderline boring pregnancy. Those terms from my OB. I am beyond thankful for this. But they were still some oddities about my pregnancy. So if you're interested and want to hear more, read on, I can't wait to share it all with you.
